Game Maker Games Contest

GameMaker Games have launched a one month Game creation contest with the theme “this game is art”.

New Community website

A new community website for users of Game Maker has launched. GamerGM.com has a file upload facility, forum and reviews section and also includes an interview with SnailFox, creator of the game 65 Million and 1 BC.

GMFetch becomes a blog

From a magazine to a blog. I think this is a good idea, although the technical implementation doesn’t impress me.
 

I love gmplanet

When Robin Monk’s Game Maker news aggregator service, gmplanet, was first released I was skeptical at the effect it would have on content producing Game Maker websites. I also feared that GameMaker.info, a customisable Game Maker startpage which I was a big fan of, would be damaged.
