The results of the Win Big competition hosted by YoYo Games have now been published. The competition ran for 3 months between May and July earlier this year. Earlier this month, owners of GameMaker: Studio Master Collection were given access to a beta version of the new Windows Phone 8 module. Today the module was officially released, with a familiar price tag of USD $199. The module is free for new and existing Master Collection owners.
YoYo Games have launched a Twitter account specifically for handling support issues. The account, @YYGSupport, is managed via Zendesk, a leading provider of help desk software.
The latest update to GameMaker: Studio – version 1.1.615 – allows users that have previously purchased export modules to upgrade to the Master Collection. Owners of the Master Collection, which has a current retail value of $499.99, will receive all future modules for no additional charge. Users that have already purchased the HTML5, iOS, and Android exports can update their license via the help menu.

A demo of Death Ray Mantra (DRM) has been published to Steam Workshop for GameMaker: Studio along with a free pack containing all of the resources used in the game.
