In the past few weeks a couple of new GameMaker magazine associated blogs have opened.

The website of GMKing, the creators of MarkUp, is currently unavailable due to a DDoS attack. Downloads of the recently released MarkUp 14 remain unaffected however.

The third episode of GMking’s Game Maker audcast has been released, nearly a year after the second.
The show is, as before, hosted by MarkUp editors Robin Monks and Eyas Sharaiha. Topics discussed include the re-writing of the GameMaker runner in C++ (including “glog” abuse!), the insecurities of GameMaker and the release of the obfuscator. [...]

GMKing.org are set to relaunch their GameMaker Audcast “soon”.
Two episodes of the podcast were released in June last year, however they no longer appear to be online.  The podcasts included discussion of the latest GameMaker developments and community topics.

A few days ago saw the launch of GMPlanet a, unusually commercial, GMKing project. The basic premise of the site is of an aggregator. In effect the site brings together game maker news from lots of sites and displays it all in one place making it easy for users of the software to [...]
