TheGMRace, the Game Maker competition run by the MarkUp and GameMakerTech Magazines has dispatched prizes to the five finalists. Competition administrator Eyas Sharaiha said “the packages were sent days earlier by Robin, so the winners should expect something from Canada pretty soon.”

The final five games are Mount Contradiction, The Meltdown, Orbiter, Triton and Freeze, Melt, Vaporize. All these games have already won their creators a copy of AKUCHIZOKU and a 1GB USB flash drive, but the winner can look forward to a domain name [...]

It has been brought to my attention that thegmrace Game Maker contest has experienced some problems in receiving entry forms. If you’ve entered today (the 15th) I advise you to check the website and follow the instructions to ensure your game gets through.
