GM-Cast, GMTV-Killer?

A new GameMaker TV show in the works, GM-Cast, has hit trouble before the launch of its first episode which we are told will be released by “November 1st AT THE LATEST!“.

The idea for GM-Cast apparently came about after a member of the team was refused a posistion at the well established GameMaker TV, “Caniac applied to be on the popular GMTV (Game maker TV) www.gamemaker-tv.com and was rejected after a long wait“.

A disagreement between the creators of the show and GameMaker Tech’s owner has led to GM-Cast deciding to partner with Darren Poole’s GMWeekly.

There is no word yet as to the type of content that is intended to feature on the show.

What do you think?

  1. If you come here, representing your little venture called “GM-Cast” when it’s been bashed down to the ground, along with your grammar skills, you obviously should type well, instead of your constant inane gibberish. Also, when you shout sentences similar to “I DO NOT “SPEEK” WITH AN ENGRISH”, do you honestly expect any other kind of an response than “you’re an idiot”?

Or in shorter terms, yes, you hold a high “posistion” when trying to defend GM-Cast.

    Oh, and by the way…

“9: this blog, in my opinion, is anything but unibased.”

Yes. Blogs aren’t really news sources – they are often a mix of a news source and personal commentary stream. Just like this one. And notice how I ignored your misspelling of the word “unbiased”?

  2. One of your points that I quoted was unrelated to the grammar/spelling point I made.

However, it should read “Why would GM-Cast die? Maybe it will be the other way around”.

  3. “And notice how I ignored your misspelling of the word “unbiased”?”
    Until that last sentence!

I always know there’s a dispute when the number of replies on a blog entry, which previously had been on the same number for a while, suddenly shoots up. Still, I ain’t gonna moan about it, it’s good to seem people outsmarting each other (or in some cases, one person outsmarting the other).

  4. Ok, so who wants to go through Caniac’s comment here to highlight spelling and grammar mistakes to show him how much of an idiot his typing makes him look like?

“8: why would GM-Cast die? maybe it will be the other way around.”

Because it’s ran by an idiot?

  5. @Tuntis:

this is a blog, the GMC is a forum, on forums and blogs, unless you hold a high posistion, you should care nothing about spelling. Or atleast, very little. same goes for grammar.

  6. ok, there are several errors in this article,
    ONE:
I never officially joined up with GM-Weekly, but we are seriously considering joining.

TWO: I AM NOT COPYING YOUR SHOW, AND MY DEATHMATCH IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM YOURS. IT DOES NOT PUT DOWN PEOPLES GAMES, I DON”T GO MOCKING PEOPLES WEBSITES, CALLING THE PRIZES “CRAPPY”.

    3:
my show will be totally unique, and november 1st is a perfectly reasonable date.

    4:
what posts at the GMC are you talking about?

    5:
your blasted database errors made me loose my first reply that I made here to this post.
    .
    6:
    thanks for the luck, Leif.

    7:
I DO NOT SPEEK WITH AN ENGRISH.
show me ONE post on the GMC where I do.
I am from NORTH CAROLINa. I have a slightly SOUTHERN accent, not asian. got that ya’ll?

    8:
why would GM-Cast die? maybe it will be the other way around.

    9:
this blog, in my opinion, is anything but unibased.

10: WHY DON’T PEOPLE WITHHOLD THEIR OPIONS BEFORE THEY PUT SOMTHING DOWn THAT THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN?

  7. My prediction is that you missed a word off the title of this blog entry.

    GM-Cast – Victim, GMTV – Killer

Come on, how many people have failed to do what GMTV has successfully done?

  8. As far as I know, Gm-Cast is ultimately copying GMTV. They will be having the same things but with a different title. For example Caniac tells me he will be featuring a “Deathmatch” which will be very similar to GMTV’s “Face-off”. But like you all said, we will just have to wait and see what it is like.

  9. I was contacted about being “interviewed” for this… needless to say, I am skeptical and turned them down. But who knows, maybe it will become a good production and I wish them luck.
