What is Game Maker Station doing?

Game Maker Station obviously sees itself as the new GMKing.  A recent e-mail to forum members outlined the services they offer which include a forum, a chat room, a blog network, a game maker top sites list, a game maker school and file hosting and email services.  Not to mention a poor-mans version of this site and a planned magazine.

After GMLive sensibly politely declined an offer to become yet another Game Maker Station service they are now planning to launch a competing radio show about Game Maker.

It won’t work.

  1. You forgot to add that Game Maker Station had planned to launch a pod cast back in 2008. The pod cast was canceled yesterday ( http://gamemakerjournal.blogspot.com/2009/10/game-maker-gazette-and-game-maker-bizz.html ) so your article is about 20 hours late. Not a radio show. A pod cast. Why has it been canceled? The show was suppose to be run by the members of GMS. Since they’re already working together on the Game Maker Gazette, they feel it’s too much work and we won’t be able to make the pod cast.

This won’t affect us. We have many other projects to work on.

Why do you think I’m mad? This doesn’t bother me at all.

btw, Good luck with your radio show 🙂
