I know you are guilty

Come on, own I up – I know it was you.

The only reason you’re here is because you were searching for a Game Maker crack, like so many others in the past. A quick glance at the posts listed in the “most popular this fortnight” box at the top right of every page on GameMaker Blog shows that certain topics always seem to be very popular – those which mention hacking or cracking of GameMaker.

  • my my, what a typical softwrap error story… It saddens me to see so many people who can’t seem to get things to work the way it’s supposed to. -_- noobs.

As for getting to this topic, I followed some links while searching up gamemaker 8 and clicked on an interesting sounding post under the recent posts section.

  • I had the activation code for my Game Maker 6.1 version and eventually lost it and so my dad had sent email to the softwrap company and they thought it was some kind of scam or scandal and some one stole my email address and requested it, but all they sent us back in the reply, was:
“Were sorry but there has been a bit of a delay with activating your activation code on your new computer modem, and it’s IP number, we will try again and maybe in two weeks it should be working, and we wish you well and were sorry for the delay,
please do not, reply as this is an automated message.

so we waited two weeks, and “Two weeks later… ”
the very exact same email came through, and dad Suggested that we look for a cheap cracked version, and he new where one was on the internet, so I am not the one who downloaded it, and I was the honest one, who payed for the product with Game Maker 6.1’s activation key, and well why should I pay again for some key I already own and have lost, and want to activate this program so I can use it’s nifty and handy Pro features, and besides YoYoGames was even handing out a free download of the full version on their home page, for that matter of a fact, 2 but that link was slight how should I say corrupted it, as many people found it.

  • I found a link to it, from another topic in this blog in Mark Up issue 14, so I am being honest and admitting I did the right thing and didn’t go looking for cracked versions of the product, instead I was just browsing my daily Mark Up issue that I check in on, and c if anything new has come and have a sneek peek and take a read of it, and how interesting things get or are getting from time, to time.

  • […] GameMakerBlog and GMNews recently posted their search engine statistics. I’ve followed suit. […]
