    lol
GameMaker is the Best Video Game Tool ever!

  2. This can help me get to the tools I really need to keep develop even better games. It is right way to help me or someone else like me. Thank you !

  3. I just stumbled upon this site while looking for software for my 13 year old computer obsessed son to work with over the summer break! This sure would come in handy! I can’t wait for him to try it out!

  4. I can personally vouch for GameMaker’s usefulness. It’s what got me started making games, in a time that now seems long, long ago. It’s ease of use really did change my life, as I likely wouldn’t be making games today if I hadn’t gotten hooked on GM!

  5. GameMaker Studio came at the perfect time to give me the power RPGMaker lacked when I was trying to do some games with it. Apart from all the included tools to easily prototype games (collision managing is a fave) I’m starting to look into the educational possibilities, specially for the youngest kids, and I see a bright future there.
So glad to live in this time!

  6. Congratulations on being successful enough to reach 7 years in the business, I admire anyone who runs their own company, you need to be strong and passionate about what you do for it all to work. Thank you for this giveaway and good luck to all who enter, I have noticed not everyone has entered into it twice, and I would urge people to share this on both forms of social media, we want to keep expanding so share!

  7. These Giveaways alwys give a motivation to gamedevelopers..
good job. and cong. for 7 years of great work.. 🙂

  8. Its pretty sad that I’ve been trying to enter this giveaway for almost 3-4 days now. and not only this i’ve tried to be on every construct 2/ gamemaker giveaway but alas I’ve not won. Anyways any day can be your luck day. Back to work and good luck to everybody.

  9. Awesome giveaway Matthew! 😀 Being your generous self as always 😛 This is going to help a lot of developers realise their dream at game development and programming! Keep up the great work! 😀 Good Luck to everyone 🙂

  10. Absolutely an amazing blog! What you are doing here is most definitely helpful to the Game Maker community! Thank you for the opportunity to enter this draw and I hope the people who could most benefit from this draw win! 🙂

  11. I so need to win a Game Maker license. This is an awesome competition. The winner is one lucky guy or girl. Just hope it’s me,. I would love to get my ideas into apps and games and get them on Android.

  12. It has always been a life long bucket list for me and my SO to make a game. I have played around with the free version of game maker but it is far to limiting to really do much more until I can get a hold of the $100 version. To be able to get a hold of such software while funds are tight up at home would mean less waiting on software and more diving into creating right away!

Thank you GMBlog for this chance and congrats to those who win!

  13. I love Construct 2 been using it for years, but I would really love to get my hands on one of them Game Maker Studio Licenses!

  14. Such initiatives are great to motivate those who want to start developing their own video games to learn of alternatives like gamemaker.

    good luck

  15. These giveaways were always been shocking and odd for me: it’s just as simple as that!

Frankly speaking, i have moved away from this tool to more direct programming/development ( i have reasons for that). But still, in 2014, there’s no better and faster tool in terms of game development than Game Maker. I still use it for prototyping – GM makes things easy for testing new design ideas or technical algorithms.

This giveaway is great idea; for some reason it’s the Internet wonder. I am all for it!

  16. The day will come when all mankind united share the responsibility for all of our actions! and when that day comes will conquer the galaxy under the banner and shield of the Terran Empire!

In the meantime we make video games! And truth be told; an awesome price from you guys would make my life so much better 😀

  17. This is such a fantastic giveaway – as a self-taught artist, one of my biggest dreams has been to make concept art for games, and this would help in that endeavor! My best friend/fiancee has always encouraged me to do so, and coupled with his dream of creating video games, we could easily make magic!

  18. Me and the GF have been toying around with the free version of GM and want to expand but right now that means saving up to buy GMStudio. To win in the contest would mean there would be no waiting, just a straight jump into producing!

So thanks to you GMBlog! And our congrats to those who win!

  19. Such an excellent blog, seems like the awesomeness never stops!

Thanks a lot for putting together this giveaway and good luck to everyone! =)

  20. Thanks so much!
dont have much hope. never won something. at least im glad some lucky person will get one of these awesome prizes.
    good luck for everyone!

  21. Wouldn’t be awesome if I actually one? 😛 Joking. The Game Maker Community has come a long way! To whoever wins the prizes congrats to you! Be sure to make the best out of the prize! Thank you Game Maker Blog, you’ll be making the dreams of the winners more possible to achieve with this gift.

  22. I happy that you are you promoting these giveaways that can help developers that have great ideas, but not so much money to by tools to develop them. Even more to me where these stuff are more than double valued due my country’s currency. I lost several new clients that want Ios games, but for I would need a exporter module + Mac Book (for publishing) + a Ios device (for testing). So wining in the draw would be a bless to expand my work and my skills.
Anyway, happy birthday, for your blog. Keep the good work on this.

  23. Thanks for the giveaway!
I used GameMaker long time ago, and now I wanted to develop games again, but I’m a student and it’s hard to pay GM’s price, so if I won this it would be amazing 🙂

  24. either your a programmer or an illustrator, however with Gamemaker it’s their so that anybody and everybody has a chance as long as you try. You too can reach a dream that all those in this blog, the people that visit the forums to one day make a video game and to those that make YouTube tutorial videos thank you for your time and effort. Never give up, always keep going because you never know when you’ll reach that goal but you just know it’s their just waiting for you.

  25. This comment is for all of our fellow Indie Developers.

When the final book is written on your life, let it
show your wins and your losses but don’t let it
    show that you didn’t play….

    Regards,
    Sujit

  26. I’ve been following the GM Blog for years now. It’s awesome to see you growing. This is an amazing giveaway!

  27. This is a really awesome giveaway! Great prize pool, especially for indie developers or aspiring game devs. Thanks for the chance, big congrats on the 7 year blog anniversary and best of luck to everyone entering! 🙂

It’s really great how easily accessed game development tools are now, especially with software like game maker, construct2 and stencyl out there, paired with all the awesome tutorials that are available online…I have a lot of hope for the indie game industry particularly when it comes to innovative game play and design 🙂 There’s a lot of really great indie games being released recently!

  28. Man this is very awesome! Even if I don’t win one of these amazing prizes I am sure they will go to a dev who really needs it. Great way to give back to the community.

  29. Making games has always been my dream. After finding the amazing gamemaker and living the wonderful experience it gives makes me proudly say the following in the context of gamemaking :-
Only dreaming and knowing nothing is like being in total darkness.
Having the passion of gamemaking is like having a candle with you.
Working with gamemaker ignites this candle.
And your efforts put together shows you the way through the darkness and leads you to the colourful world of success.

  30. Step to the world of gamemaking with gamemaker. It’s a tool which holds immense power, which can change your present and future, can give you exactly the same opportunities and chances which you plan to achieve.
