GameMaker Studio has ranked as the 35th best game development technology in the latest edition of Develop 100, a tech list voted on by independent developers, CTO’s, and industry heavyweights.
Unfortunately, the popular 2D game development engine was outranked by competing engines.
Other game engines that made the list include Unreal Engine which ranked #2 overall, Unity which ranked #3, and CryEngine which ranked #11.
